Kiwi kids article

Hello readers and bloggers.

Today at school I did a Kiwi Kids article. I did 1 of it on my google document it was easy. Here is what I have done.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games break sales records

The new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games have broken sales records.

Nintendo has revealed that the games have sold more than 10 million copies worldwide in the first three days of their launch.

This means the games have officially broken the record for the “highest global sales level for any software on any Nintendo platform within the first three days”.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is the first mainline game to take place in the ‘open world’ meaning players can choose what they want to do.

The games have already beaten Pokémon Sword and Shield’s record, which sold six million copies in its opening few days when it launched in 2019.

If Pokémon Scarlet and Violet continue on this path, it means they could become the highest-selling Nintendo games of all time.

But they would have to beat some pretty tough competition from other Nintendo games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons (40 million copies) and Mario Cart 8 Deluxe, which sold a whopping 48 million copies!

Recall question

  1. What was the key event from the news article? The new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games have broken sales records.
  2. Where did this event take place? world wide.
  3. When did this event take place? November 29, 2022.

Thinking question.

  1. In your own words describe what happened in this news article. So the Nintendo company has released the new Pokemon game Scarlet and Violet and has broken sales records.
  2. Tell us when this event happened and explain what might happen in the future. So the event happened on November 29, 2022 and in the future they might release a new Pokemon game and it might go popular also because it is going to be from Nintendo.
  3. Explain in your own words why this event took place. To tell others there is a new Pokemon game and it makes people buy it so they can check it out.

Thank you for looking at my blog. I hope you enjoyed it.

I got question for you. What is your favorite Nintendo game?
